Island becomes a peninsula

It was time to create a template for the counter tops so the pieces of the island were moved into the kitchen. Upon arrival of the stove alone you could tell it just was not going to work.

"But I measured it" says the designer. And yes, to the measurement it is exactly as we calculated but it was just too crowded.

So, the island found a spot on the new wall and became a peninsula.

There will be a panel covering the back of the stove and cabinets and an eat at bar on the close side of the island.
