and back to the floors.......Here is a picture of the 3 different options. Running across the top is the original floor color. Running down the left is "american standard"-like stain. Running down the right is bare wood (no stain and no finish but essentially the final color without stain).

Sorry the floor is so dirty but there is just no controlling the dust around the house these days.
