Spring Time Girls Night

Thanks to some free samples of flavored vodka, mixologist Emily created three colorful girlie drinks to celebrate a prefect spring friday evening.

And of course you have to have cheese, crackers, and fruit with a good weekend beverage.


While the dogs played in the yard, we sipped our cocktails in the back yard and enjoyed a perfect spring evening.


The evening concluded with an excellent roasted garlic, cherry tomato, and arugula pizza!

Blossoms

This past week I had a very pleasant surprise. A plant that I inherited from a neighbor, and barely kept alive all winter, bloomed. Bright red flowers! Two to start and as the week progressed then there were four, six, and I think there might even be another one on the way!
