Spring Brings Change

Notice anything different?

I was pleasantly surprised to find these beautiful tulips this spring.

So I decided to add more bulbs to the other side of the walk in hopes that the fire hydrant might be slightly more concealed.

Aching Back

This past Easter weekend I played in my yard. While my sister was bundled from head to toe because she claims the 60 is "really cold", I enjoyed the fresh cut green grass between my toes. I pulled weeds, edged beds, planted flowers, picked up after the dogs, and gave just about every inch of the yard some fine tuning.

The dogs entertained themselves nicely (By the way this lab shepherd mix is my sister's new dog named Yaara which means loyal companion in Hindi)

This is why my back hurts today....

I had some help from my next door neighbor

Finally, check out my sisters blog for a really cute video of me playing with the dogs in the yard! http://perfectlysinful.blogspot.com

Spring has Sprung

60s
sunny
flowers
warm breezes
thunder storms
green buds
garden sprouts

These are my new garden beds on either side of the shed. Thanks to dad they are made of recycled wood and a truck load of compost.

The English Boxwoods look much better all clumped together on one side of the walk way. Now what do put on the other side?

The hostas are growing and much to my surprise there are a million daffodil bulbs all throughout the yard.

Lula loves the daffodils.
