Four long, hard days!

The last 4 days I had a team of champions helping to scrape, wash, prime, and paint the entire house (minus one room). Ceilings included....Way to Go Team!

Mom put a lot of elbow grease into cleaning off wallpaper glue.

Em the Great put in two long days and was crucial in guiding me through my color selections.

(Check out the wall behind her in this picture...what color is coming?)

"Black Raspberry" filled Em's paintbrush and off she went on that livingroom wall.

Here is the team during a small snack break. Check out the finished living room wall behind us.

Dad was the master painter. He trimmed and rolled every ceiling, the hallway, the living room, the guest room, the bathroom, and my bedroom. Way to go DAD!

All that hard work in such a short period of time caused him to go completely grey almost overnight!

Just kidding but he did get covered head to toe with dry wall dust when sanding the new bathroom this weekend.
Todd became the trim master. His 14 year old favorite paint brush and his patience of a god truly helped!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Mom, Dad, Todd, and Em for all of your hard work!

I'm glad you have good friends to replace your delinquent sister! At least I can provide you with cool exotic furnishings...

in India, we would have just hired a bevy of workers to do all this for us...and would have got the job done in a quarter of the time with probably a fraction of the cost.
Which is why India is called the Third World...one-third of the cost involved with 3 times more luxury :)
