First Love

There is nothing like a first love at 1.5 years old. When your love will hide with you under the table, play the same game over and over and over, read books, make music for you to dance to, and laugh from sun up to sun down then you know she is a keeper. Sorry little man but I got her first but thanks for a great visit to Tampa!

Spring Break

No we are not in school and no we are not teachers but we still decided to take a spring break trip to Florida! Six days of 80 degree sun, sand between the toes, and good friends and family made for a perfect vacation. Here are some of our self portraits from the trip.

Philly Flower Show

In the pouring rain we made the 2.5 hour trek to Philly for the opening day of the Flower Show! Inside it was warm and colorful and smelled like spring. The theme was Spring in Paris.

I thought this flower plane was great and took the picture just for the Hess family!


Here we are in the "best front porches" exhibit. In no time flat April will have our front porch bursting with flowers too!


This cute doggie is made of succulents. Can you see the amazing variety of plants throughout the dog?


This orchid took my breath away with its delicate green strips on the white petal


And last but not least the flower Unicorn. April's favorite childhood animal made out of April's favorite thing in the world, flowers!

Wedding Dresses

The hunt for two perfect dresses has begun. Two dresses which we both feel fabulous wearing but that also look good together side by side. We are not that picky and yet this is proving to be a bit more of a challenge than anticipated. Thank goodness for bridesmaid dresses which come in a million styles and colors.

Here is what we are working with so far. Any suggestions or thoughts? Imagine them all in Ivory and of course without the pins holding them up!

Cone Head

Leni loves being a cone head. Most dogs walk in shame but Leni holds her head up proud. She doesn't let that cone stop her from doing anything. Leni was spayed last week and thus she has a shaved belly and one shaved leg. She was crashed out like this for less than 24 hours after the surgery.



She was then up and about using that cone to her advantage. She uses it to hold her toys while she chews on them. She picks up sticks and gum balls on our walks with it. She even managed to crawl under the bed with it on!



Why let a little cone get in your way from enjoying life, right?

Won't You Be Our Neighbor

3 bedroom 2.5 bath house for sale around the corner in a great neighborhood. I can think of many people who I would love to have as neighbors. Great house with a good price and an incredible previous owner who did everything expensive a house needs in the last 5 years. Do I hear any offers?
