Mardi Gras Potluck

Nothing is better than a good Mardi Gras Party to pick up your winter spirits. Also don't let anyone tell you that southern food can not be vegetarian because this was a mean Jumbalaya recipe!





The traditional King Cake looked better than it tasted, unfortunately, because the yeast never woke up to rise. But that didn't stop me from hiding a "baby" (aka Tinkerbell because I couldn't find any other small plastic item at Target) in the cake to bring Liz good luck in 2010
